Mycelio’s Two-Stage All-in-One Mushroom Grow Kit is the beginner-friendly solution for cultivating gourmet or edible mushrooms at home—no tubs, no fuss. Each kit includes sterilized milo grain bags and pasteurized manure-based substrate bags, all equipped with appropriate filter patches for ideal gas exchange at each stage of the mycelium lifecycle.

Choose your size:

• Standard Kit – Two 2 lb grain bags + two 3 lb substrate bags.

• Large Kit – Two 3 lb grain bags + two 5 lb substrate bags

Unlike traditional all-in-one bags, our two-stage approach separates grain and substrate until you’re ready, leading to faster colonization and better yields.

Each grain bag inoculates one substrate bag. Culture or spores not included.

Whether you’re testing different cultures, growing back-to-back, or just want a backup in case of contamination, this setup gives you a better shot at a successful first grow.

Inoculate – Inject 5 cc of liquid culture into each grain bag. We recommend Pioppino ! A delicious gourmet mushroom that grows great in our kits!
Colonize – Allow the grain to fully colonize (10–21 days).
Transfer & Mix – Open the substrate bag, add colonized grain, mix thoroughly, and seal the bag by folding and taping or using a sealer. Can also mix into a monotub.
Secondary Colonization – Let the mycelium colonize the substrate. Let sit for 10 more days at 70–75°F.
Fruit – Wait just a little longer and watch your mushrooms flush!

Monotub Sizing Guide:

• Standard Kit (2 lb grain + 3 lb sub):
   Split each bag in half to fill two 6 qt dub tubs — or use one full set for a 12–20 qt tub (1:1 ratio).

• Large Kit (3 lb grain + 5 lb sub):
   Fills a 32 qt up to 54 qt monotub (1:2 ratio)

Each grain + substrate set = one tub.
Or fruit directly in the bag—your choice.

Storage Recommendations:
📦 Store all components in a cool, dark place (45°F–70°F). Use within 4–6 weeks for best results.

No refunds. If your kit arrives contaminated, send us timestamped photos—we got you. Once a bag is opened, mixed, or inoculated, it’s no longer eligible for replacement.
