Mycelio’s Simple CVG Substrate is a balanced mix of 50% coconut coir and 50% vermiculite, finished with a touch of gypsum for added calcium and sulfur. Hydrated to true field capacity and pasteurized for 90 minutes at 160°F, this blend comes ready to use—just mix with your fully colonized grain spawn and you’re good to grow.

CVG is a clean, low-odor alternative to manure-based substrates. It stores longer, carries less contamination risk, and is easier to handle. Whether you're just starting out or running bulk tubs, this formula delivers consistent, reliable results.

We use manufacturer-buffered coir to ensure proper pH and salt levels, and this is the same base we use in our manure mixes—just simplified.
